Erchomai Classical School School Club

WHO we are.

Erchomai School Club is a Classical Christian School that partners with homeschooling families to teach Christ-centered curriculum in the classical tradition.

WHAT we do.

Erchomai operates as a part-time tutorial for homeschooling families. This offers homeschooling parents support in educating their children by providing accountability and weekly instruction in select classes. These classes are chosen for their core value in advancing a classical education.

HOW we do it.

Erchomai teachers provide all or most of the instructional portion for the subject material that will be covered that week, including instruction for the work to be completed at home. All work that is assigned is purposeful for learning, retention, and growth in the subject matter as well as to aid the student in their development as an independent learner over time.

HOW homeschool parents are involved.

Parents ensure that their children complete assigned work, bring their completed assignments and assessments to class and adhere to deadlines set by the teachers at Erchomai. Parents also grade and mark their children’s work as specified by individual  teachers. Successful tutorial days and homeschool days are achieved when parents, teachers and students share the responsibility of embracing their roles and communicating any challenges with each other and with the Head of School. There are no mandatory volunteer hours or additional requirements for parents.

Erchomai is not an umbrella school and parents should register as Independent Homeschoolers. Erchomai does not issue grades, but provides instruction and accountability and will keep track of student progress for the purpose of promotion. Parents mark work using their Teacher Guides and record their student’s grades.
